Preventive measures in the West Bank, Palestine – archive
The Director General of Palestinian Health Services, Osama al-Najjar, announced the registration of 11 cases of the British mutated mutation from Corona in areas of the West Bank, bringing the number of mutated Corona injuries to 28.
He said that “5 injuries for one family were recorded in the town of Deir Jarir, two injuries in the town of Al-Taybeh, east of Ramallah, and two others in Al-Ram, north of Jerusalem, and the same in Bethlehem.”
He added: “The symptoms appearing on those with the British mutation are almost the same symptoms for the rest of those infected with the virus,” stressing that “the medical teams are closely following their condition.”
Al-Najjar pointed out that “there are 17 other suspicious samples still under examination in the laboratories of the Arab American University in the suburb of Al-Rihan north of Ramallah, which includes a research team from the university and the Ministry of Health.”
He pointed out that “the source of the British mutation infection is not yet specified, while preventive medicine teams will work to track it.”
For its part, the World Health Organization stressed the importance of monitoring the epidemiological situation in the world, as the outbreak of the “British” mutation of the Corona virus, which is characterized by a high transmission capacity, was monitored in 70 countries, in addition to the spread of two other virus mutations that were previously detected in South Africa and Brazil. .
