Barcelona’s top scorer and captain Lionel Messi missed the match due to muscle pain in his left thigh, according to many Spanish reports, and was satisfied with the support of his team from the stands of Nuevo Archangel Stadium in the city of Cordoba.
Barcelona will face in the final match next Sunday the winner of the second semi-final match, which will bring together Real Madrid and Athletic Bilbao on Thursday.
