The Pentagon rejected journalist Tucker Carlson’s criticism of the presence of pregnant women in the US armed forces.
“Pregnant women will fight in our wars.
He added that the US armed forces are becoming “more feminine,” while Chinese forces are becoming “more masculine.”
In response to the journalist’s comments, Pentagon spokesman John Kirby said that the department would not “hear advice on cadres from a TV program presenter.”
Kirby described the journalist’s comments as an “insult to the US armed forces.”
It is noteworthy that women represent 16% of the cadres of the US armed forces, and their percentage among officers is 19%.
