The newspaper “Sport Express” revealed today, Sunday, that the Russian national football team coach, Stanislav Cherchesov, has been named the best footballer in Russia for 2020.
Cherchesov chose Cska Moscow goalkeeper Igor Akinfeev first.
The 57-year-old coach arranged the remaining four names as follows:
Artium dziuba (Zenith).
Fyodor Kudryasov (AntalyaSpor, Turkey).
Georgy Djikia (Spartak)
Roman Zobnin (Spartak).

For the fifth year in a row, the “Sport Express” newspaper has been voting for the best player in Russia in a calendar year. Coaches, team managers and journalists from “Sport Express” participate in the vote, in addition to the online audience voting.
History of the award for the best soccer player in Russia according to “Sport Express”:
Fyodor Smolov (Krasnodar) in 2016.
Dutch Quincy Promise (Spartak) in 2017.
