Today, Sunday, a Russian warship docked in the Sudanese port of Port Sudan overlooking the Red Sea, according to a statement issued by the Russian Black Sea Fleet.
The statement said the Russian fleet said that the crew of the “Admiral Grigorovich” frigate visited Port Sudan, which, according to the agreement concluded between the governments of Moscow and Khartoum, will host a logistics center for the Russian Navy.

The statement indicated that the visit aims at refinancing the ship and resting its crew, after the participation of “Admiral Grigorovich” in the “Security 2021” international maneuvers that were organized in the Arabian Sea in mid-February.
