The Russian Ambassador in Ankara Alexei Yarkhov met with a delegation from the Union of Turkish Doctors and briefed its members on information about Russian vaccines against Coronavirus, on top of which is “Sputnik V”.
The Russian embassy in Ankara said in a post on its official Facebook page today, Wednesday, that “Yarkov spoke during the meeting about the Russian vaccines against the emerging corona virus infection, with attention focused on the“ Sputnik V ”vaccine developed by the Russian Gamalia Center.

The embassy added that Yarkhov informed Turkish doctors about the registration of the vaccine and the start of its production in a number of countries of the world, and responded to doctors’ questions in this regard.
The head of the Russian Fund for Direct Investments, Kirill Dmitriev, had announced earlier that starting next February, Russia would produce millions of doses of the “Sputnik V” vaccine.
So far, two anti-Coronavirus vaccines have been registered in Russia, “Sputnik V” and “Epivac Corona”, which was developed by the “Victor” Center, while procedures are continuing to register the third anti-Corona vaccine in Russia tomorrow, Wednesday.
