The Russian Center for Reconciliation in Syria announced that it had monitored 36 bombing attacks by the militants of the “Al-Nusra Front” terrorist organization in the de-escalation zone in northwestern Syria during the last day.
The deputy director of the Russian Center for Reconciliation, Major General Alexander Karpov, said in a statement on Wednesday that 15 bombing operations were monitored in Idlib Governorate, 12 in Latakia Governorate, 6 in Hama and 3 in Aleppo.
Earlier, the Russian Center for Reconciliation indicated that the “Hayat Tahrir al-Sham” militants were preparing provocations by using chemical weapons in the Idlib region to stop the escalation and accusing the Syrian government forces of that.
The Russian Center stated last week that the number of displaced Syrians who have returned to their country has reached more than 650,000 since July 18, 2018.
