Meanwhile, Yuri Borisov indicated that the “Ross Cosmos” Foundation plans to launch a new unit to the International Space Station in 2021 that may form in the future the basis of the Russian national space station.
It is noteworthy that the countries contributing to the International Space Station project have agreed to extend its life until 2024. And talks are now taking place between them regarding the use of the station after 2024, despite technical problems that they began to face, especially the problem of air leakage outside the station, which Russian astronauts find themselves helpless. All resolved.
The Russian “Ross Cosmos” space organization pledged to send them next February on board the space truck a set of devices and tools that will help them fill an infinitesimal gap in the station’s body.
The executive director of the Russian “Ross Cosmos” organization, Sergey Krikaliov, had earlier reported that the technical condition of the station had been examined and its ability to maintain readiness until 2024 had been completed. He said, “All our colleagues are interested in continuing to use the international station.”
Dmitry Rogozin, Director General of Ros Cosmos Corporation, declared that it was too early to take the plant out of the investment space, despite the expiration date of some of its sections.
