The Saudi Civil Defense spokesman, Muhammad Al-Hammadi, confirmed that the civil defense teams in the city of Riyadh began yesterday evening, Saturday, “the incident of the shrapnel of a ballistic missile launched towards the capital.”
The Saudi “Sabad” website reported that “the missile fragments were scattered in several residential neighborhoods in separate locations,” noting that “the fall of one of the shrapnel resulted in material damage to a house without any human injuries or deaths, and the incident was dealt with according to the approved procedures and prepared plans.” So”.
The Saudi-led Arab coalition announced yesterday, Saturday, that it had intercepted and destroyed a ballistic missile launched by the Houthi “Ansar Allah” group towards the capital, Riyadh, as well as 5 drones towards the Kingdom’s territory.
The coalition pointed out that “the terrorist Houthi militia tried to target the Saudi capital, Riyadh, with a missile fired from inside Yemeni territory, but the air defense was able to shoot it down.”
