The Saudi General Authority for Zakat and Income stated, in a statement published by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) on Sunday, that it had detected several websites and accounts impersonating its name with the aim of financial fraud on individuals.
The authority called on all taxpayers and individuals not to share their personal information or financial data except through the official authority’s channels.
She stressed that the authority’s employees do not ask for the individual’s bank account’s password, nor the information on bank cards.
