Press reports revealed the identity of the logo that will appear on Barcelona's shirt when it faces Real Madrid in El Clásico later this month.
El Clásico will be held between Real Madrid and Barcelona at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium in the 11th round of the Spanish League on October 27.
According to “Sport” newspaper, the shirts are scheduled to bear the logo of the famous British pop band “Coldplay.”
In recent seasons, especially since its contract with Spotify in 2022, the Catalan club has become accustomed to having the logo of a singer or band on the team’s shirt during El Clasico.
The reason for changing the unique logo is due to the deal that Barcelona concluded with Spotify when the music streaming site first became the main shirt sponsor of the club.

As part of the contract, players were forced to promote new releases from various artists by wearing their images on the front of their shirt.
The decision to appear on Coldplay comes shortly after the release of their tenth album, Moon Music, on October 4.
The special shirt that Barcelona will wear in El Clásico will be put up for sale, in order to provide fans of Barcelona and the British team with the opportunity to combine something they love in one shirt.
This is not the first time that Cold Play has been linked to the Spanish League giant, as it played a special role during one of the most famous periods in the club’s history.
Pep Guardiola had previously adopted their famous song “Viva Lafia” as a celebratory anthem for his team during his coaching of the Catalan club.
