The Sudanese authorities in Khartoum denied the issuance of any new decisions about additional precautionary measures, after the increase in Coronavirus infections.
The Khartoum state government said in a statement, today, Wednesday, that its role is to submit recommendations from the joint emergency health room of the Supreme Health Emergency Committee, stressing that it has not issued any new decisions.
The government clarified in its statement that the Health Emergency Committee discussed a report and recommendations from the State Ministry of Health, noting that after deliberating about it in the joint health emergency room, and after the high rate of Corona injuries in the country, those recommendations were submitted to the Supreme Health Emergency Committee and are scheduled to be discussed during the meeting of the Supreme Committee For health emergencies, which will be held today in the Republican Palace.
