The Sultanate of Oman announced that it will impose a partial trade closure in the country from 4 to 20 March.
Today, Monday, Omani state television reported that it has been decided to close all commercial activities in all governorates of the Sultanate between eight in the evening to five in the morning, starting from the fourth to the twentieth of March, as part of measures to combat the spread of the Corona virus.
Last Thursday, an Omani official revealed that the Sultanate was conducting consultations with the countries of the Cooperation Council to issue a passport for the Coronavirus, in light of a “worrisome situation” regarding the outbreak of the pandemic in the Sultanate.
