For more than a month and a half, the Gaza sky remained illuminated at night with the glow of red rockets, which continued to rain down on the besieged Strip, bringing with them death and destruction to its population of 2.2 million people. During the daylight hours, the situation did not change, but the colors were changing, as the blue sky of Gaza turned black due to columns of smoke rising from the rubble of houses that were leveled to the ground.
In the context of this attack, which followed Operation “Al-Aqsa Flood,” the Israeli occupation army killed more than 11,000 Palestinians, including 4,300 children. Meanwhile, thousands are still classified as missing after being buried under rubble by Israeli bombing.
Official Israeli data say that 12,000 sites were targeted in the besieged Palestinian Strip between October 7 and November 1, making this the most violent military campaign of its kind in modern history.
