© Reuters. The Treasury opens the 2022 auctions and plans to raise up to 6,250 million
Madrid, Jan 3 (.) .- The Spanish Public Treasury will open the 2022 auctions this Wednesday, January 5, and will do so with a medium and long-term debt bid in which it expects to raise between 4,750 and 6,250 million euros.
Specifically, in the aforementioned bid, the Treasury will auction four different denominations of debt: three-year government bonds, seven and fifteen-year obligations, and finally, other ten-year inflation-indexed obligations.
According to the calendar established by the Treasury, after this first auction in 2022, Spain will appeal to the market another three more times in January.
On the 11th he will auction six and twelve month bills; on the 18th, letters at three and nine months; and on January 20, bonds and obligations.
