Today, Friday, the Turkish Ministry of Defense announced that 5 militants from the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) and the Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG) had been neutralized, and that they had tried to infiltrate the “Peace Spring” in northern Syria.
The ministry said in a statement on Twitter that the Turkish special forces (commandos) neutralized 5 terrorists from the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) and the People’s Protection Units (YPG).

On Monday, the Turkish Ministry of Defense announced the neutralization of 35 members of the “Kurdish workers” in the previous three days in the area controlled by the Turkish army and forces loyal to it, as a result of an operation launched by Ankara in October 2019 against the Kurdish units east of the Euphrates, which it called “Peace Spring”.
