The Turkish research vessel “Raies Aruj” left the port of Antalya, heading to the eastern Mediterranean, to resume exploration activities there, accompanied by the “Ataman” and “Genghis Khan” ships for protection and supply.
Anadolu Agency reported that the Turkish ship had previously returned to the Antalya port on November 30, after completing the two-dimensional seismic survey studies in the Damra field, to carry out maintenance work and supply it with fuel, indicating that Turkey issued a Naftex notification that lasts until June 15 next year.
The ship can perform three-dimensional seismic processes up to 8,000 meters deep, and two-dimensional seismic processes up to 15,000 meters deep.
