Manchester City, the English Premier League club, announced today, Friday, that its striker Gabriel Jesus and defender Kyle Walker have been infected with the emerging fast-spreading Corona virus.
Two of the club’s technical staff were also injured, and the four injured began a period of quarantine.
Al-City said in a statement: “Everyone in the club wishes colleagues a speedy recovery during the holidays and before they return to work, training and competitions again.”
Manchester City is ranked eighth among the 20 Premier League teams, with 23 points, and will meet Newcastle United on Saturday, before visiting Everton next Monday.
