The ultimate summer buy: Kmart is now selling a three-metre backyard swimming pool for just $59

Shoppers are going wild over a three-metre backyard swimming pool from Kmart Australia that costs just $59.

Perfect for summer, the Bestway Fast 10-foot portable pool takes just 10 minutes to set up and can hold up to 3,900 litres of water.

Dozens who got their hands on budget buy have been sharing their glowing reviews on social media, with many saying it’ll help keep them cool during heatwaves.

‘Love mine. Use it heaps. My kids all over 18. They love it,’ one mother wrote,’ while another said: ‘Even if it only lasts one season… so worth it. On a hot day it’ll be the best $60 ever spent.’

‘We just bought this and it’s fab,’ another said, while one added: ‘We just got this. Kids love it. Have the pump going and chlorine and no issues so far.’

Others quickly pointed out the ground must be levelled otherwise the pool will ‘fill up unevenly and it’s a nightmare’.

‘Great pool just make sure it’s on even ground when filling,’ one woman said, while another added: ‘Needs to be 100 per cent level otherwise it will pour over one edge and flood your yard.’ 

Many also suggested adding chlorine to the water.

‘Awesome pool. Definitely need chlorine otherwise it goes slimy on the bottom but otherwise it is great. I also have no issues with the filter. Works great too,’ one said.

The portable pool, which comes with a water filter pump and a repair patch, measures 3.05 metres long and 76 centimetres tall.

The Kmart product comes just weeks after shoppers rushed to Bunnings to buy a new rectangular pool that’s significantly cheaper than others on the market 

The above-ground pool is specifically 4.1 metres long and 2 metres wide and comes equipped with a stepladder, power steel frame and pump. But the product is already sold out at multiple store locations 

The Kmart product comes just weeks after shoppers rushed to Bunnings to buy a new rectangular pool that’s significantly cheaper than others on the market. 

The Bestway Rectangular Pool Set is priced at $490, while other brands often cost more than $700.

One eager mum who spotted the ‘cheap’ product online shared the news to a popular Facebook group.

‘Just wanted to appreciate the Bunnings pool for under $500, it is so decent and a great size,’ she wrote online. 

‘Use the item number in the picture and call your stores or the Bunnings headquarters number – they will tell you who has it and you can buy off the shelf.’
