And emergency personnel previously said that two people were killed in Mandalay, Myanmar’s second largest city, on Saturday, when police and soldiers fired to disperse protests against the February 1 military coup.
Demonstrations have continued in the country for more than two weeks, but this Saturday became the bloodiest day since the outbreak of unrest.
