The administration of the US President, Joe Biden, sent a letter to the UN Security Council in which it informed the withdrawal of the declaration of his predecessor, Donald Trump, about the resumption of all UN sanctions on Iran.
The Acting Permanent Representative of the United States to the United Nations, Richard Mills, said in a message addressed to the Security Council Thursday that the United States withdraws the Trump administration’s announcement to reimpose all UN sanctions on Iran in September 2020.
