(Trends Wide) — America’s economic recovery has hit a roadblock: American employers added just 194,000 jobs in September, another worrying sign that COVID-19 is disrupting the economy.

The unemployment rate fell to 4.8% in September, the Bureau of Labor Statistics said on Friday, down from 5.2% in August.
