The value of Jordan’s imports of crude oil and its derivatives decreased by 48.5% during the first 11 months of last year to 1.11 billion dinars ($ 1.56 billion) compared to the same period in 2019.
This came according to data released today, Monday, by the Department of Statistics in Jordan.
At the end of November 2019, the Kingdom’s bill for oil and its derivatives amounted to about 2.16 billion dinars.
It is noteworthy that Jordan imports more than 95 percent of its energy needs.
