One of the biggest events of the summer revolved around the future of Ben Simmons. One of the most versatile players in the entire NBA, there seems to be a good chance he will be traded before the start of the season.
One logical difference for Simmons is the Golden State Warriors, who are among the top favorites to land him.
Either way, has Golden State in talks about what the trade will look like for the rising star?
According to Anthony Slater of The Athletic, there was never a reality show on the table from Philadelphia for the Warriors to discuss regarding Simmons.
Slater would go on to report that the Warriors were among the teams invited by the Sixers during their initial commercial inquiries, but that was before the draft. In addition, the asking price was too high for Simmons, so no bargaining took place.
Up to this point, Philadelphia and the Golden State have not had serious talks about the Simmons trade. However, things change quickly in the NBA, so don’t count anything.
