Despite the prolonged loss of Draymond Green due to back problems, the management of the Golden State Warriors has ruled out the signing of a center that can replace him for the moment, the media reported. The Athletic.
The names of Marc Gasol, now in the ranks of Girona in the LEB Oro, and Paul Millsap, for whom the Brooklyn Nets would be looking for a way out, had recently been linked.
Those of Steve Kerr do not currently have room in the squad to sign another player, and they have not considered making any discards either. Between Looney, Toscano-Anderson and even Otto Porter Jr. are sucking up Green’s court minutes.
In the current regular season, the aforementioned Green is reaping averages of 7.9 points, 7.6 rebounds, 7.4 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.4 blocks in 29.9 minutes per game.
