The United States Secretary of the Treasury, Janet Yellensays he sees a way to avoid a recession in the country, with a significant reduction in the inflation and a solid economy given the strength of the working market.
“You don’t have a recession, when there are 500,000 jobs and the rate of lowest unemployment in over 50 yearsYellen told ABC’s “Good Morning America.”
Yellen noted that inflation is still too high, but it has been slowing for the past six months and could come down much further thanks to steps taken by the Joe Biden administration, including some to cut the cost of gasoline and prescription drugs.
