NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – As temperatures remain well below average to start the week some schools in the Midstate have announced closures or delays for Tuesday, Jan. 14.
Any melting that has occurred or will occur during the next few afternoons, could turn into icy spots in the overnight hours. Watch out for black ice, especially on secondary roads.
A refreeze is possible overnight, as temps will fall into the 20s quickly. They’ll bottom out in the teens for some. Nashville’s low will be 20°. Thanks to the overnight refreeze, isolated icy spots will be possible in the morning.
Tomorrow will turn a little milder during the afternoon thanks to a southwest wind. High, 42.
