They hold a contest to choose the best Rosca de Reyes in Guadalajara

The meeting event at 13 bakeries and chefs from prominent restaurants in the city, whose rosca de reyes competed in the categories: original, traditional and gourmet.

“We think of Guadalajara for all the gastronomic offer, all the talent that is here,” said the organizer of the event, Natalia Maciel, to El Economista.

Based on the experience of the eight editions previously held at CdMx, the organizer of the donut He highlighted that once the winning company is announced, its sales usually increase due to the exposure that the brand has due to the contest.

“Recognition is important because there are very small bakeries and other very large ones, the types of business in this sector are different and the idea is to give opportunities to both those that are in a restaurant and those that are in a hotel or at street level Maciel commented.

In this first edition in Guadalajara, the 13 participating bakeries were: Bruna Restaurant, La Postrería, Mánna Boulangerie, Ohlala Boulangerie Bistrot, Pan Chamizal, Elíseos Bakery, Magallanes Bakery, Pancromático, Pastriva Restaurant, Quelite Restaurant, Rin tin tin, Saint Michel and Xoaquina Pastry.

The guests at the event, including representatives of the media, foodies and influencers, cast their votes to choose the best bagel in Guadalajara.
