They leave out the Citizen Movement of the Permanent Commission

For the third time, the Political Coordination Board (JCP) of the Chamber of Deputies left Movimiento Ciudadano out of the Permanent Commission, despite a ruling from the Superior Chamber of the TEPJF that ordered the integration of the bench in the Commission .

By being excluded, it would be the fifth time that the Jucopo fails to comply with the ruling of the Superior Chamber of the TEPJF, since in the last ruling the Court, issued on August 3, requested the Chamber of Deputies to update the regulatory framework for integrate the Permanent, before December 15, closing of the ordinary period of San Lázaro.

Following up on this, MC reported that on December 2 it submitted a brief to the Superior Chamber of the Court denouncing that the time to approve this regulation was practically exhausted.

It should be noted that the JCP also excluded the PRD from integrating the Permanent Commission, however, the parliamentary faction of Sol Azteca will have a place in said legislative commission, thanks to the fact that the PAN will give it a space.

Due to the above, it is expected that the integration of the Permanent Commission will be as follows: 8 legislators from Morena; 5 of the BREAD; 3 from the PRI; 2 from the PVEM and 1 from the PT. Likewise, it was stipulated that the integration should attend to gender parity.

The decision not to include MC and PRD deputies in the formation of the Permanent Commission does not violate any of their rights, since according to the regulatory provisions they do not have the right to join, said deputy Leonel Godoy Rangel (Morena) .

For his part, deputy Jorge Álvarez Máynez, coordinator of the MC Parliamentary Group, asserted that his bench will seek to assert their right to have representation in the Permanent Commission, through judicial channels and parliamentary instruments.
