They plan to reopen this Monday the affected section of Line 3 of the Metro

It is estimated that this Monday afternoon the section from Indios Verdes to Tlatelolco de la line 3 of the Collective Transportation System (STC) Metroafter it was closed last Saturday due to the collision of two trains.

In a message to the media, the director of the Metro, Guillermo Calderon Aguilerapointed out that they are about to start the first empty test with a train at low speed, covering the section that is closed from Indios Verdes to Tlatelolco and its return.

We hope, based on all the evidence we have from the verifications of the systems, that everything happens well,” he said from the Potrero station.

For her part, the Head of Government, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardoexplained that 22 people are still hospitalized due to the crash, 17 of them in the San Ángel Inn Hospital, two in the ISSSTE Hospital on October 1, two in the Rubén Leñero of the City Government, of the Ministry of Health, and a person in the Toxicology.

“The protocol that we developed from the beginning is already working, the different colleagues from the City Government are attending to each of the people who had an injury (…) Check if they still have a headache, with any affectation older, that they return to the hospital to be treated ”, he deepened.

He revealed that they identified that several of the victims have concerns about their license from the Mexican Social Security Institute, for which a person has already been designated to support.

In addition, a special center is being installed in the Casona del Metro for all people who have a problem related to the crash.
