They send Tony Montana to the Altiplano

In the midst of a strong security device, Antonio Oseguera Cervantes alias Tony Montana, brother of the leader of the Jalisco Nueva Generación Cartel, was transferred from Mexico City to the Altiplano maximum security prison in Almoloya de Juárez, State of Mexico.

Guarded by at least 15 trucks belonging to the National Guard and the Mexican Army, the second in command of the largest cartel in the country, arrived at the maximum security prison last night.

Antonio Oseguera Cervantes, El Mencho’s brother, had been declaring for nearly two days before the Office of the Special Prosecutor for Organized Crime Investigation of the Attorney General’s Office of the Republic (FGR).

Therefore, after the period established by law, starting Thursday night, he will carry out his process from the Federal Center for Social Readaptation Number 1 El Altiplano, in the State of Mexico.

Likewise, it was reported that outside this prison the operation was mounted by personnel from the three levels of government and escorted by about 25 vehicles.

Other blows to the cartel

Yesterday the Secretary of Public Security announced that in recent weeks 32 members of the Jalisco Nueva Generación Cartel (CJNG) have been apprehended, designated as generators of violence in the country.

The Undersecretary of Public Security of the Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection (SSPC), Ricardo Mejía Berdeja, reported that among these captured targets are Jaime René “N”, alias El Borrego, lieutenant of the CJNG and his wife Ana Isabel “N”. , in a building located in Tepic, Nayarit and who were arrested on December 14, by elements of the Defense Secretariat, when they were accused of coordinating operations and also the hitmen who operate throughout that region. Weapons and drugs were seized from him.

Other relevant arrests against the CJNG are direct relatives of Mencho, such as Rosalinda “N”, his sentimental partner; his children Rubén “N”, who was extradited to the American Union and Jessica “N”, who was detained in the United States.
