This Morning fans were left far from impressed on Friday morning as the show kicked off with a cringey dance segment.
Viewers branded the car crash intro ‘the worst opening to a show ever’ as hosts Josie Gibson and Craig Doyle showcased their dodgy dance moves while reminiscing about their favourite 90s tunes.
Joined by Gyles Brandreth and Tim Campbell, Josie opened the show, declaring: ‘Hello and welcome to your Friday’s This Morning’, as Craig then explained ‘We do have a reason for doing this, we are kicking off your Friday with some 90s tunes starting with Rhythm of the Night, a favourite of Josie’s.’
As she bopped along, Josie remarked: ’90s music, absolutely fantastic’, before turning to Tim and Gyles to ask what their favourite track was from that era.
After they named Soul to Soul by Back to Life and Will Smith‘s Getting Jiggy With It as their preferred tracks from the time, Craig noted that pop music wasn’t his thing and instead was more of a rocker.

He shared: ‘I was going down a very musical path at this stage in my life. There was no pop music. It would have been Nirvana…it would have been Smells Like Teen Spirit.’
The track then blared out loudly in the studio, with Craig, Josie, Gyles and Tim then proceeding to jump wildly around.
But as Craig got into the swing of things, Josie soon put a halt to proceedings as she huffed: ‘No, oh no, it is too much for me!’
And it appeared to be too much for viewers too as they rushed to X, formerly known as Twitter, to complain about the segment,
They shared: “#ThisMorning Worst start to a show ever; ‘Love this tune! The dancing however!???’
“Is this the worst opening segment to a This Morning episode in history?; ‘Unfortunately, you’re not hallucinating.’
‘This Morning can the dancing stop now, please.’
It comes after ITV took an outrageous turn on Friday morning as Andi Peters made a very racy manhood joke on Lorraine, while Rob Rinder showcased his very impressive dance moves on Good Morning Britain.

Clearly in a mischievous mood, Andi, 54, took the opportunity to share a very cheeky remark as a picture of him flaunting his very ripped physique flashed up on screens as part of a discussion on whether hairy men are scared to go topless.
Proudly looking on at the image of himself in his pants, Andi declared to host Christine Lampard and Dr Amir Khan that he wasn’t ‘ashamed’ off his buff body.
As the pair showed their appreciation for his fine form, Andi then revealed something very X-rated someone in the gallery said in his earpiece as he said: ‘Nice pants but I can’t go pole-vaulting if you know what I mean!’
Andi was of course referring to French pole vaulting sensation Anthony Ammirati, who sparked a viral Olympics moment, after a certain appendage prevented him from medaling at Paris 2024.
But while a clueless Christine insisting she had no idea what he was referring to, a smirking Amir confirmed he was in the know, while laughter from the crew could be heard in the background.

While Rob Rinder showcased his very impressive dance moves on Good Morning Britain
Meanwhile, over on Good Morning Britain, Rob Rinder stunned his co-stars and viewers with his very surprising agility.
Following a debate which discussed whether breakdancing should be an Olympic sports, Rob appeared inspired by two break-dancers who showed off their skills in the studio.
Stepping up to the plate, the barrister then decided to show off his own moves, launching into an impressive flip before coolly posing with the dancers.
His moves garnered a cheer from co-star Kate Garraway while the break-dancers and other crew members were suitably impressed.
