The professional cake decorator shaped the cake to make a ‘beer’, wrapped a large sheet of fondant around the bottle, used edible paint to create the ‘glass effect’ and added a gold cap on top.
‘We made this Victoria Bitter longneck cake for a 60th birthday… and it was so fun,’ Tigga wrote on social media.
She noted there were different versions of the VB cake online, including a beer bottle ‘lying down’ or a can version ‘standing up’.
And so she challenged herself to make a longneck bottle cake that sits ‘vertically’.
‘So using the sweet edible paints, I painted in all the reflections that you might see on a real glass bottle just to make it look more realistic,’ she said.
‘For the label, I peeled off a real VB longneck label and I scanned it into my computer so I could get it printed on edible paper.’

To finish off her spectacular work, she popped a round sheet of fondant on top to create a gold bottle cap using edible paint.
‘It’s actually better than what I thought it was going to be. I loved the result,’ she said.

‘This looks so realistic, my granddad would 100 per cent try to pop the cap off,’ one woman wrote, along with a laughing emoji.
A second said: ‘That’s too beautiful to eat,’ while a third added: ‘Wow, what the fudge, that is awesome. That’s so realistic looking.’
Many told the baker her creation looked exactly like the ‘real thing’, while one amused woman said the cake would ‘taste way better’ than the real VB beer, which is notoriously known for its strong bitterness flavour.
Dozens of Australians said their VB-loving friends and family would ‘enjoy’ this cake.
