“Today the people want the 4T to continue and for women to continue fighting for equality, because without us there is no democracy”

León, Guanajuato, April 29, 2023*.-. *”They say that Guanajuato is very conservative, but I don’t think so, because here the President is very well evaluated and everyone here also wants women to participate in decision-making positions*, that the Fourth Transformation continues and women continue to fight for equality, because there can be no democracy without women”, expressed Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, before more than 7,000 Guanajuatenses who overflowed the forum destined for her conference, in the city of León.

After detailing the main actions that have made the capital of the country a city of rights, in terms of education, security, mobility, equality and the environment, the head of government sent a message to the new generations of Guanajuato, mainly the female sector : *“We say to girls and young people ‘they can be what they want to be’, plumbers, electricians, workers and housewives, but also, if they want, municipal presidents, deputies, senators and governors, even presidents of the republic ”.*

Upon her arrival at the conference venue, at the *Poliforum in León, a public billboard in honor of the speaker was in charge of offering her a warm welcome, with applause, cheers, blankets and various displays of affection.* In response, Claudia Sheinbaum greeted each one of the members, *who with their encouragement stunned the campus full of inhabitants of the 46 municipalities of the state, who agreed that Claudia Sheinbaum is the ideal one to take the next step in the transformation of the country and take it to the Guanajuato state.*

In her speech, *the speaker celebrated, among other successful public policies, the reduction of crime rates by more than half, so far in her administration, thanks to a policy of “hugs and no bullets”, which she does not want say “that we stand idly by”,* but rather attention to the rights of youth and the eradication of impunity and corruption in the forces of public order.

His conference, *which was convened by the Technological Institute of León, was attended by Ricardo Sheffield Padilla, head of Profeco, federal deputies Pedro David Ortega Fonseca, Miguel Torruco and Aleida Alavez Ruiz, local legislators, municipal presidents, directors of various campus of the Technological Institute of Mexico and former legislator Jesusa Ramírez,* as well as political leaders and citizens of all Guanajuato municipalities.

During her arrival at *Silao airport, Sheinbaum Pardo also received various expressions of affection, as hundreds of people, including some local political figures,* waited to greet her with cheers and mariachi music. * Prior to her conference, the head of government attended a breakfast with the state business community, mainly shoe producers, at the Hacienda del Refugio, * where they expressed her support for the transformative project that she leads.
