The English club Tottenham announced the termination of the contract with Ivorian Serge Aurier by mutual consent, after the two parties agreed on this, based on the desire of the player who did not want to complete his career at Tottenham.
“The club can confirm the departure of Serge Aurier after mutual agreement to terminate his contract,” the club said in a statement on its official website.
Spurs added: “Serge signed from Paris Saint-Germain in August 2017, and he made his debut in our 3-1 victory over Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League before making 110 matches for us, scoring eight goals.”
“I really enjoyed my time at Tottenham and would like to thank the club and the fans, but I feel now is the right time to move on to a new challenge,” said Serge. “We thank Serge for his service and wish him success in the future,” the club concluded.
