Trae Young is the latest NBA star to say ‘I do’ as the Atlanta Hawks guard married his long-time girlfriend, Shelby Miller, in the Bahamas, shortly after Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid got hitched.
Footage of Young and the bride enjoying their first dance as husband and wife with ‘Forever Young’ emblazoned on the dance floor at the Ocean Club on Parade Island, which sits just offshore from Nassau, circulated on social media over the weekend.
The couple, both dressed in white, shared the intimate moment in front of guests, including Migos’ Quavo and R&B artist Jacquees.
Young also shared highlights of his big day on Instagram, such as when he and his spouse walked on the beach together and watched fireworks light up in honor of their union.
The pair had Mr. and Mrs. pillows written on their pillows too and a couple of rose petals spelling ‘LOVE’.

Young, 24, was a basketball star at Oklahoma University, while Miller, 27, was part of the cheerleading squad in Norman.
They share one-year-old son, Tydus, together and are expecting a baby girl after Miller made an announcement that she was pregnant with the couple’s second child earlier this month.

Young’s big day comes after the completion of his fifth NBA season since being drafted as the fifth overall pick of the 2018 draft.
Last season, he averaged 26.2 points, 10.2 assists and 3.0 rebounds per game as the Hawks finished with a .500 record (41-41).
Atlanta’s franchise player did remarkably well for a team that underwent three head coaching changes and lost in the first round of the playoffs 4-2 to the Boston Celtics.
Young, who’s previously been booed by Knicks fans at Madison Square Garden in the 2021 playoffs, signed a five-year, $215million extension with the Hawks last year.
