The London Museum decided to keep the Trump Baby balloon, which was launched by the British upon US President Donald Trump’s first visit to Britain, in protest of his decisions.
The museum announced that it would place the balloon inside its corridors, along with remnants of other public protests that took place in the British capital.
While the museum management hopes that Trump Baby will be a reminder of when London will stand up to Trump, it believes that it will motivate supporters of the struggle against hate policies.
“London has always been an open, developed and multilingual city. It is a haven for knowledge, tradition and controversy, and for thousands of years we have hosted many historical protests,” said Sharon Amnt, director of the London Museum.
And the Trump Baby balloon has won global fame, and he embodies Trump with a baby towel and in his hand a smartphone, in reference to his frequent use of his Twitter account, and it is 20 feet high.
The mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, had given permission to fly the balloon over London in conjunction with Trump’s first visit to Britain, to appear afterwards on the US President’s tours around the world, as well as in many of his gatherings and international tours.
