Previous President Donald Trump denied E. Jean Carroll’s sexual assault allegation in a videotaped deposition that was played in a Manhattan federal courtroom on Wednesday.
Carroll, the longtime Elle advice columnist, is suing Trump for rape and defamation, alleging that he raped her in a Bergdorf Goodman dressing space in the mid-1990s, and ruined her reputation when he named her a liar when she went community with the accusation yrs later on.
“It did not transpire,” Trump stated, right before proceeding to say that “if it did come about, it would have been documented in minutes” because Bergdorf Goodman is a “incredibly occupied retail store.”
“It is the most preposterous, disgusting story. It really is just manufactured up.”
