- Trump is accusing Fox News of making him look bad — literally.
- He said in a Truth Social post early on Wednesday that some supporters had approached him about it.
- He also said his staff his long complained to the network about the issue.
Former President Donald Trump appears convinced that Fox News is trying to make him look bad.
Not politically — though Trump has long had complaints about that too — but literally.
In a Truth Social post early on Wednesday, Trump claimed that “three people in New Hampshire” asked him why the network uses such “horrible” photos of him “when doing or promoting a story.”
“The coloring, distortions, everything are just so bad,” he continued. “They must sit and look at 100 different shots, and then take the 10 absolute worst.”
Trump went on to say that his staff has been complaining about the issue “for months, but to no avail.”
“Fox is just bad news, but I’m leading in the Polls by record numbers, so perhaps their bull…. is just not working,” Trump added.
It is unclear what exactly Trump was referencing in his early-morning missive, and a spokesperson for Fox News did not immediately respond to Insider’s request for comment.
Though the conservative-leaning network has long been generally supportive of Trump and his policies, the former president and his allies have recently complained that they haven’t been supportive enough.
Some of that has stemmed from the network’s coverage of Trump’s chief primary rival — Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis — as well as revelations from Dominion Voting System’s lawsuit against the network, which showed that many top executives and personalities maintained an antipathy toward the former president.
