US President Donald Trump is leaving Washington, DC, on his last trip as the 45th president of the United States.
Trump is expected to leave the White House shortly in a presidential helicopter, heading to Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland, 24 kilometers from central Washington, where the US Air Force No.1 plane awaits him.
Trump will travel on Air Force One to his home in Florida.
Trump becomes the first president of the United States to miss the inauguration of his successor since Andrew Johnson, who led the country between 1865 and 1869.
