The Republican candidate for the US presidential election said Donald Trump Today, Thursday, the world is very close to a world war, and what is coming may end in something like the Great Depression.
“We are very close to a world war and we have leaders who do not know how to deal with it,” Trump added during a rare press conference in Florida.
He said the United States was “in the most dangerous situation possible now economically and security-wise, and we have a lot of bad things coming that could end up resembling the Great Depression.”
The former US President suggested holding three televised debates with his Democratic rival. Kamala Harris Over the next month, before the presidential elections scheduled for November 5.
“We have an agreement with Fox for September 4th, with NBC for the 10th, and with ABC for the 25th,” Trump said, adding, “I hope the vice president agrees.” He also pledged a “peaceful transition” of power if the US elections were “fair.”
A new Reuters/Ipsos poll showed the Democratic candidate leading her Republican rival by one percentage point, with 43% of registered voters supporting her compared to 42% for Trump.
