- “My dilemma is, do you have no shame?” Gabbard requested Santos.
On Tuesday evening, previous Democratic Representative Tulsi Gabbard set force on GOP Agent-elect George Santos about the lies he has been caught in around the past week.
“If I have been 1 of these in New York’s third district appropriate now, now that the election is in excess of, and I’m locating out all of these lies that you’ve instructed — not just one particular small lie or a single minimal embellishment, these are blatant lies,” Gabbard explained to Santos on Fox Information. “My query is, do you have no shame? Do you have no shame in the people today who now you’re inquiring to believe in you to go and be their voice for them, their families, and their children in Washington?”
Santos responded by proclaiming that President Joe Biden was lying to the American people today, and asked if Biden himself experienced any disgrace. He also claimed some of the statements that he lied about his work heritage have been “debatable” and that he would be prepared to explain himself.

The trade happened as Gabbard was filling in for Tucker Carlson, a man caught telling lots of lies ahead of, on his nightly display, Tucker Carlson Tonight. Gabbard has also courted controversy: Previously this year, she left the Democratic Get together, and has, at periods, aligned herself with significantly-right Republicans.
Santos, who was elected in New York’s 3rd district as the first non-incumbent out gay Republican, has been mired in controversy soon after reviews indicated that he fabricated details of his employment, increased education history, and funds, and lied about losing four employees for the duration of the Pulse nightclub taking pictures in 2016.
Santos has also arrive less than fire from a GOP Jewish group for falsely declaring that he is of Jewish heritage.
Santos admitted to some of these fabrications in an interview with the New York Publish on December 26.
Santos did not quickly react to Insider’s ask for for remark.
