The Tunisian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that Moscow informed it that Russian universities are ready for the return of foreign students in the near future, provided that the date will be fixed at a later time.
The Tunisian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a statement that the competent Russian authorities stated that universities are ready for the return of foreign students in the near future, which is tentatively likely to take place during the month of April.
The ministry added that it is constantly following up with the Tunisian embassy in Moscow, the issue of the return of Tunisian students to study places in Russian universities, after the Russian authorities decided to close their borders due to the outbreak of the Corona pandemic, in order to secure this return in the best conditions.

The Russian authorities had announced that foreign students coming from countries that had resumed flights with them, must undergo two tests for Corona before attending Russian higher education institutions.
The Russian Consumer Rights Protection Authority stated in a statement that these students must undergo a Corona virus test within a period not exceeding 72 hours before they enter Russian territory, followed by a second test that will be carried out within 72 hours after arrival.
Students are permitted to proceed with the study in the event that both tests show a negative result.
