Tunisian President Kais Saied, during his meeting with Labor Union Secretary General Noureddine Taboubi, renewed his rejection of dialogue with those he described as looters of the people and the perpetrators of its poverty.
“I am not ready for dialogue with those who plundered and impoverished the Tunisian people for decades,” Said said.
Saeed had expressed his rejection of the participation of certain parties in the dialogue proposed by the working organization as part of an initiative to solve the political crisis.
The Tunisian president stressed that the political crisis that Tunisia is experiencing, which has deepened recently, by his rejection of the ministerial modification and his objection to some of the names that gained the confidence of Parliament, is not the one who caused them, and he, in return, blames those he described as manipulatives.
He added, “I am one of the people whose balances or alliances will not change,” considering that the recent ministerial modification was not based on creating alternative balances in the government “based on roles, as it is said,” but rather “based on the alliances that occurred in the past.” , In reference to the Ennahda Coalition and the Heart of Tunisia and the Dignity Coalition, which represents the so-called political belt of the government.
“They only have to respect their pledges and beliefs if they are honest,” Saeed said, noting in this context that some consider taking the oath as a mere measure.
He continued, “Even passing Al-Sirat on the Day of Resurrection can consider it a mere procedure and the pronouncement of the two testimonies,” stressing that they are seeking, through this modification, to enter the Bardo and the Kasbah, referring to the components of the “political belt” of the government.
Concerning the delay in receiving the new ministers who gained the confidence of Parliament for their duties as a result of its refusal to receive them to take the constitutional oath, and some suggested the possibility of resorting to what is known as the “ impossible procedure, ” Saeed commented, “ They seek inspiration for jurisprudential solutions and they are not jurists … They are looking for impossible procedures Which are applied in administrative law and not in constitutional law. ”
Saeed went on to say, “We are ready for all solutions, but I am not ready to retreat from principles and look at the nature of the oath over the Qur’an in Islam .. I pledged before my Lord that I would be at the service of the people and that I would not be in the service of those who seek to overthrow the state.”
