The Public Prosecution Office of the First Instance Court in Tunis stated that, based on the information circulated about the existence of a technical test report on the suspicious envelope, on Friday, a written letter was sent to the Sub-Department of Criminal and Scientific Intelligence at the Ministry of the Interior, through the Sub-Department of Criminal Cases in Tunisia, to inquire about the existence of that report. He did not, and we were informed of it, if any. On the same day, she received an answer attached to a report.
The Public Prosecution stated in its statement that after reviewing the content of the technical report, it became clear that the suspicious envelope did not contain any toxic, narcotic, dangerous or explosive materials.
She stated that the interests of the Presidency referred on January 26 a torn envelope to the sub-department of criminal cases in Tunisia, and requested the necessary technical tests, adding that the aforementioned administration returned the aforementioned envelope to the presidency on the same day after carrying out the required technical tests.
