‘Don’t play with him – on my mother’s life, he’s playing against us!’: Tunnel footage reveals Karim Benzema laying into Real Madrid team-mate Vinicius, 20, at half-time and telling team-mates not to pass to him just days after Sergio Ramos’ row with Isco

Karim Benzema has sensationally been caught accusing his own Real Madrid team-mate Vinicius of ‘playing against us’ while talking with Ferland Mendy during the 2-2 draw with Borussia Monchengladbach.
The Frenchman was picked up by cameras in the tunnel at Borussia-Park discussing the 20-year-old during the half-time interval, where he told Mendy ‘not to play’ with him.
In a conversation spoken in French, Benzema tells Mendy: ‘Don’t play with him. On my mother’s life, he [Vinicius] is playing against us.’

French news outlet Telefoot released the footage following the game on Tuesday, which shows the Real Madrid players filtering out from the dressing room and into the tunnel for the second half, with Vinicius stood within earshot of both Benzema and Mendy.
It was reported by Marca that, while Vinicius was not directly referenced in the conversation, it was the Brazilian who the pair were discussing.
The report goes on to claim that Mendy only passed the ball to Vinicius, who both play on the left, three times during the second half following the conversation.

It’s not the first time Benzema has spoken up about team-mates, having controversially clashed with Olivier Giroud and Mathieu Valbuena before.
Benzema hit out at Giroud earlier this year after labelling comparisons between the Chelsea striker and himself akin to liking ‘go-karting’ to ‘Formula One’.
Benzema has also previously faced trial for his alleged involvement in a blackmail plot involving the sex-tape of his former France team-mate Valbuena back in 2015.
However, the striker’s latest incident on Tuesday evening comes just days after Isco was caught criticising Zinedine Zidane during El Clasico, leading to more claims of unrest in the Real Madrid training room.

The Spanish international was criticising manager Zinedine Zidane during El Clasico
The 28-year-old, who was an unused substitute during the 3-1 win against Barcelona on Saturday, is growing frustrated at the lack of playing time under Zidane so far this season.
Isco was filmed questioning the timings of Zidane’s substitutions by Spanish TV station Movistar saying: ‘If he (Zidane) has to bring me off, he substitutes me in minute 50 or 60 of the game, sometimes at half-time.
‘If he has to put me on, he puts me on in the 80th minute.’
The 28-year-old was speaking to Marcelo and Luka Modric when his temper boiled over, and Diario Sport also claim the 32-year-old left back laughed after hearing the former Malaga midfielder’s complaints.

Real skipper Sergio Ramos reportedly confronted the duo over their poor performances
Isco’s criticisms from the bench led to Real captain Sergio Ramos to clash with Isco for his poor performances this season.
Diario Sport went on to claim that led to Ramos confronting both Isco and Marcelo for their underwhelming displays when they have figured.
Isco has started just two games to date this campaign in a win against Real Valladolid and the defeat by Cadiz – in which he was taken off at half-time – the only LaLiga games that Marcelo has featured in as well this term.
