Corona virus in Turkey
The Turkish Ministry of Health announced that 72 deaths and 9,561 new cases of coronavirus were recorded in the last 24 hours.
The Ministry stated in its daily report that the total number of deaths due to the virus in the country reached 28,285, while the total number of infections reached 2665194.
She indicated that the death toll from HIV infection rose to 2540,293, after 5,297 new cures were recorded.
On February 18, the ministry announced that more than 5 million people had received the first dose of the Chinese “Sinovac” vaccine against the Coronavirus, as part of a campaign that began a month ago in Turkey.
Ankara began the vaccination campaign on January 14, starting with health workers and the elderly.
