He added, “It is not possible to combat a terrorist organization using another terrorist organization, and it is certain that adopting a selective policy among terrorist organizations will have negative consequences on our common security.”
He pointed out, “The concept of the threat posed by terrorism is becoming more complex at the international level, while terrorist organizations continue to spread their hateful propaganda, recruit members and kill innocent people.”
He pointed out, “Terrorist groups have recently exploited digital platforms, warning against those groups’ exploitation of the concept of freedom of expression in order to carry out their promotional activities.”
The Turkish Parliament Speaker stressed that “Turkey is combating many terrorist organizations simultaneously, such as the PKK, Gulen organizations, ISIS and al-Qaeda terrorist organizations.”
He stressed, “The Corona pandemic has negatively affected counter-terrorism measures by directing attention and resources to the health field, and this situation has provided terrorist groups with more room to act.”
He said, “Turkey continues resolutely in combating the threats emanating from” ISIS “and” al-Qaeda “and foreign terrorist fighters because of the situations in Syria and Iraq.
