On Monday, Çavuşolu began a tour that includes Kuwait, Oman and Qatar, which is Turkey’s most important ally in the Gulf region.
This tour comes at a time when sources spoke about moves away from the media initiated by Saudi Arabia and the UAE “to improve relations with Turkey, which could benefit the fields of trade and security in the Middle East.”
