Turkey has extended the ban on layoffs for two months, starting from January 17, a presidential decree published in the Official Gazette said on Wednesday.
The ban began this year to limit the repercussions of the Corona pandemic on jobs and the economy in general.
President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has the authority to extend the ban for a maximum of three months each time, until June 30, 2021.
